Today we're going to talk about one of the brand's most important defining characteristics. A fundamental pillar without which nothing we do would be the same. We're going behind the scenes at Feler to show you the creation and manufacturing process of our wooden glasses, which, as you know, are handmade .
At Feler, we believe that if you want to do something the best possible, you first have to get your hands dirty. That's why these glasses are the result of the work, effort, and passion that went into crafting each pair, one by one, in Spain . Reviving almost forgotten values, we combine technology and tradition to create a product that is unique by nature and timeless in its manufacturing process.
One of our favorite sayings, “ It’s not the wood, it’s the way, ” perfectly defines the importance of the process. The wood is the beginning; everything starts with it. But from there, we could have made a pair of glasses or a table. And you already know what we ultimately decided on.
We begin by selecting the wooden sheets that we will later press. This is where each pair of glasses, although still not noticeable as such, begins to differentiate itself from the rest, because the pattern on each one is never the same as the others.
From that moment on, we only accentuate the differences in each product. Every pass with the sandpaper or every time we polish it again, makes the shape of one pair even more distinct from another. This is how the small details create the personality of each pair of glasses.
In this way, we make each Feler unique , just like its owner. Just like every experience you enjoy together, from the moment it passes from our hands to yours.
